The Damian Mills Junior Cricket Award was established in November 2003 through donations from Damian’s family and his many friends. The Award commemorates Damian’s commitment to excellence in cricket and community involvement. This award commemorates Damian’s commitment to excellence in the sport of cricket as well as his involvement in and dedication to the community. Typically the Damian Mills Junior Cricket Award will recognize one outstanding candidate annually. The Award itself reads: “In recognition of having demonstrated the highest ideals and qualities of sportsmanship, volunteerism and commitment while in pursuit of excellence in the sport of cricket.” The monetary value of the award in 2009 will be $1500.
